II Timothy3

Evil in the Last Days

But realize this: that in the last days difficult times will be present.

For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,

unloving, implacable, slanderous, without self-control, savage, without love of good,

treacherous, reckless, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

having a form of godliness but having denied its power. And turn away from these.

For out of this sort are those who enter into households and capture weak women burdened with sins, led away by various desires,

always learning and never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.

And in the way that Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these also oppose the truth — men depraved in mind, disqualified concerning the faith.

But they will not advance much further, for their folly will be plain to all, as also that of those two became.

All Scripture Is God-Breathed

But you have closely followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance,

the persecutions, the sufferings — such as happened to me in Antioch, in Iconium, in Lystra; what manner of persecutions I endured! And out of them all the Lord delivered me.

And indeed all those desiring to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.

But evil men and impostors will advance to the worse, leading astray and being led astray.

But you, abide in the things you have learned and were assured of, knowing from which people you learned them,

and that from childhood you know the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise unto salvation through faith that is in Christ Jesus.

Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for instruction, for conviction, for correction, for training in righteousness,

so that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work.
