In that day there will be a fountain opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for impurity.
And it will be in that day — the utterance of the LORD of hosts — I will cut off the names of the idols from the land, and they will not be remembered again; and also the prophets and the spirit of uncleanness I will make pass from the land.
And it will be, when a man prophesies again, that his father and his mother who bore him will say to him, You will not live, for you have spoken falsehood in the name of the LORD. And his father and his mother who bore him will pierce him through when he prophesies.
And it will be in that day: the prophets will be ashamed, each of his vision, when he prophesies; and they will not wear a hairy mantle in order to deceive.
And he will say, I am no prophet; I am a man working the ground, for a man acquired me from my youth.
And one will say to him, What are these wounds between your hands? And he will say, Those with which I was struck in the house of those who love me.
The Shepherd Struck, the Sheep Scattered
Sword, awake against my shepherd and against the man who is my fellow — the utterance of the LORD of hosts. Strike the shepherd, and the flock will be scattered; and I will turn my hand against the little ones.
And it will be in all the land — the utterance of the LORD — two parts in it will be cut off and breathe their last, and the third will be left in it.
And I will bring the third into the fire, and refine them as silver is refined, and test them as gold is tested. He will call on my name, and I will answer him. I will say, He is my people; and he will say, The LORD is my God.
