Revelation of John20

Satan Bound

And I saw an angel descending out of heaven, holding the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand.

And he seized the dragon — the ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan — and bound him for a thousand years,

and cast him into the abyss and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he may not deceive the nations any longer until the thousand years may be completed. After these things it is necessary for him to be released for a little time.

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given to them; and the souls of those beheaded because of the testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who did not worship the beast nor its image and did not take the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand. And they lived and reigned with the Christ a thousand years.

The rest of the dead did not live until the thousand years may have been completed. This is the first resurrection.

Happy and holy is the one having a part in the first resurrection! Over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will reign with him the thousand years.

Satan Cast into the Lake of Fire

And when the thousand years may have been completed, Satan will be released out of his prison,

and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war, of whom their number is like the sand of the sea.

And they marched up over the breadth of the earth and encircled the camp of the saints and the beloved city. But fire came down out of heaven and devoured them.

And the devil who is deceiving them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where also are the beast and the false prophet; and they will be tormented day and night to the ages of the ages.

Judgment before the Great White Throne

And I saw a great white throne and the one sitting on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled, and no place was found for them.

And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the one of life. And the dead were judged out of the things written in the books, according to their deeds.

And the sea gave up the dead who were in her, and Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each of them, according to their works.

And Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire; this is the second death, the lake of fire.

And if anyone was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.
