I will healtheir backsliding,I will lovethem freely:for my angeris turned awayfrom him.
I will be as the dewto Israel:he shall growas the lily,and cast forthhis rootsas Lebanon.
His branchesshall spread,and his beautyshall be as the olive tree,and his smellas Lebanon.
They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the grain, and grow as the vine: its scent shall be as the wine of Lebanon.
Ephraimshall say, What have I to do any more with idols?I have heardhim, and observedhim: Iamlike a greenfir tree.From me is your fruitfound.
Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
