Revelation of John16

The First Six Bowls of Wrath

And I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, “Go and pour out the seven bowls of the rage of God into the earth.”

And the first departed and poured out his bowl into the earth, and a harmful and grievous sore came upon the men having the mark of the beast and those worshiping its image.

And the second poured out his bowl into the sea, and it became blood as of one dead; and every living soul that was in the sea died.

And the third poured out his bowl into the rivers and the springs of the waters, and they became blood.

And I heard the angel of the waters saying, “Righteous are you who are being and who was being, O holy One, because you have judged these things;

because they have poured out the blood of saints and of prophets, and you have given blood to them to drink; they are worthy.”

And I heard the altar saying, “Yes, O Lord God the Almighty, true and righteous are your judgments.”

And the fourth poured out his bowl upon the sun, and there was given to it to scorch the men with fire.

And the men were scorched with great heat, and they denigrated the name of God who is having the authority over these plagues; and they did not repent to give him glory.

And the fifth poured out his bowl upon the throne of the beast, and its kingdom became darkened; and they were gnawing their tongues for the distress,

and they blasphemed the God of heaven on account of their distresses and on account of their sores; and they did not repent of their works.

And the sixth poured out his bowl upon the great river the Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the rising of the sun may be prepared.

And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet three unclean spirits as frogs.

For they are spirits of demons performing signs, which go forth to the kings of the whole inhabited world, to gather them together unto the battle of the great day of God the Almighty.

Behold, I am coming like a thief. Happy is the one watching and keeping his garments, so that he may not walk naked and they may see his shame.

And he gathered them together unto the place which is called in Hebrew Armageddon.

The Seventh Bowl of Wrath

And the seventh poured out his bowl upon the air, and a loud voice came out from the temple, from the throne, saying, “It has been done!”

And there were flashes of lightning and voices and thunders, and there was a great earthquake, such as had not been since when man was upon the earth — so great was the earthquake, so mighty.

And the great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And Babylon the great was remembered before God, to give to her the cup of the wine of the rage of his wrath.

And every island fled, and mountains were not to be found.

And great hail, about a talent weight, comes down out of heaven upon the men. And the men blasphemed God on account of the plague of the hail, for its plague is exceedingly severe.
