Revelation of John14

The Lamb and the 144,000

And I looked, and behold the Lamb standing upon Mount Zion, and with him one hundred forty-four thousand, having his name and the name of his Father written on their foreheads.

And I heard a voice out of heaven as the sound of many waters and as the sound of loud thunder. And the voice that I heard was like that of harpists harping with their harps.

And they are singing as a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. And no one was able to learn the song except the one hundred forty-four thousand, who were redeemed from the earth.

These are they who were not defiled with women, for they are pure. These are those following after the Lamb wherever he may go. These were redeemed out from the men as firstfruits to God and to the Lamb;

and in their mouth was not found a lie; they are blameless.

The Three Angels and Babylon’s Fall

And I saw another angel flying in mid-heaven, having the eternal gospel to evangelize upon those residing on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people,

saying in a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to him, because the hour of his judgment has come. And worship the one having made the heaven and the earth and sea and springs of waters.”

And another angel, a second, followed, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, who has given all the nations to drink of the wine of the rage of her sexual immorality.”

And another angel, a third, followed after them, saying in a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and its image, and receives a mark on his forehead or upon his hand,

he himself also will drink of the wine of the rage of God, which is mixed undiluted in the cup of his wrath; and he will be tormented in fire and brimstone before holy angels and before the Lamb.

And the smoke of their torment goes up to ages of ages, and they have no rest by day and night — those worshiping the beast and its image, and if anyone receives the mark of its name.”

Here is the endurance of the saints, those keeping the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

And I heard a voice out of heaven saying, “Write: Happy are the dead, those dying in the Lord from now on.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “so that they will rest from their labors, for their works follow with them.”

The Harvest of the Earth

And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud is sitting one like the Son of Man, having on his head a golden crown and in his hand a sharp sickle.

And another angel came out of the temple, crying in a loud voice to the one sitting on the cloud, “Put forth your sickle and reap, because the hour to reap has come, because the harvest of the earth has ripened.”

And the one sitting upon the cloud swung his sickle upon the earth, and the earth was harvested.

And another angel came out of the temple in heaven, he himself also having a sharp sickle.

And another angel came out of the altar, who is having authority over the fire, and he called in a loud voice to the one having the sharp sickle, saying, “Put forth your sharp sickle and gather the clusters from the vine of the earth, because its grapes fully ripened.”

And the angel put forth his sickle to the earth and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast them into the great winepress of the rage of God.

And the winepress was trodden outside the city, and blood flowed out of the winepress as high as the bridles of the horses, to the distance of one thousand six hundred stadia.
