Of David. To you, LORD, I lift up my soul.
To You I Lift Up My Soul
My God, in you I have trusted; let me not be ashamed; let my enemies not exult over me.
Indeed, none who wait for you will be ashamed; ashamed will be those who deal treacherously without cause.
Your ways, LORD, make known to me; your paths teach me.
Lead me in your faithfulness and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I have waited all the day.
Remember your compassions, LORD, and your acts of loyal love, for they are from of old.
The sins of my youth and my transgressions do not remember; according to your loyal love remember me — you, for the sake of your goodness, LORD.
Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in the way.
He leads the humble in judgment, and he teaches the humble his way.
All the paths of the LORD are loyal love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.
For the sake of your name, LORD, pardon my iniquity, for it is great.
Who is the man who fears the LORD? He instructs him in the way he should choose.
His soul will lodge in good, and his seed will inherit the land.
The counsel of the LORD is for those who fear him, and his covenant, to make it known to them.
My eyes are continually toward the LORD, for he will bring my feet out of the net.
Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am alone and afflicted.
The distresses of my heart have widened; from my straits bring me out.
See my affliction and my trouble, and lift away all my sins.
See my enemies, for they are many, and with violent hatred they have hated me.
Keep my soul and deliver me; let me not be ashamed, for I have taken refuge in you.
Integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I have waited for you, LORD.
Redeem Israel, God, from all his distresses.
