Give Praise, O Servants of the LORD
Praise the LORD! Praise the name of the LORD; praise, servants of the LORD,
who stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God.
Praise the LORD, for the LORD is good; make music to his name, for it is pleasant.
For the LORD has chosen Jacob for himself, Israel as his treasured possession.
For I myself know that the LORD is great, and our Lord is above all gods.
All that the LORD delighted in, he has done, in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all the deeps.
He raises mists from the end of the earth; he made lightnings for the rain; he brings out wind from his storehouses.
He struck the firstborn of Egypt, from man to beast.
He sent signs and portents into your midst, Egypt, on Pharaoh and on all his servants.
He struck many nations and killed mighty kings —
Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan —
and he gave their land as an inheritance, an inheritance to Israel his people.
LORD, your name is forever; LORD, your remembrance is to generation and generation.
For the LORD will judge his people, and he will relent concerning his servants.
The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of the hands of man.
They have a mouth and do not speak; they have eyes and do not see;
they have ears and do not give ear; there is no breath at all in their mouth.
Like them will be those who make them, everyone who trusts in them.
House of Israel, bless the LORD! House of Aaron, bless the LORD!
House of Levi, bless the LORD! You who fear the LORD, bless the LORD!
Blessed be the LORD from Zion, who dwells in Jerusalem. Praise the LORD!
