Laws for Peace Offerings
And if his offering is a sacrifice of peace offerings: if he brings it near from the herd, whether male or female, he shall bring it near without blemish before the LORD.
And he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and slaughter it at the door of the Tent of Meeting; and the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall throw the blood against the altar all around.
And from the sacrifice of the peace offerings he shall bring near, as a fire offering to the LORD, the fat that covers the inner parts, and all the fat that is on the inner parts,
and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them at the loins, and the lobe on the liver, which he shall remove with the kidneys.
And the sons of Aaron shall turn it into smoke on the altar, on top of the burnt offering that is on the wood that is on the fire — a fire offering of a soothing aroma to the LORD.
And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offerings to the LORD is from the flock, male or female, he shall bring it near without blemish.
If he brings near a lamb as his offering, then he shall bring it near before the LORD,
and lay his hand on the head of his offering, and slaughter it before the Tent of Meeting; and the sons of Aaron shall throw its blood against the altar all around.
And from the sacrifice of the peace offerings he shall bring near, as a fire offering to the LORD, its fat — the whole fat tail, which he shall remove close to the backbone — and the fat that covers the inner parts, and all the fat that is on the inner parts,
and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them at the loins, and the lobe on the liver, which he shall remove with the kidneys.
And the priest shall turn it into smoke on the altar — bread of a fire offering to the LORD.
And if his offering is a goat, then he shall bring it near before the LORD,
and lay his hand on its head, and slaughter it before the Tent of Meeting; and the sons of Aaron shall throw its blood against the altar all around.
And from it he shall bring near his offering, as a fire offering to the LORD: the fat that covers the inner parts, and all the fat that is on the inner parts,
and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them at the loins, and the lobe on the liver, which he shall remove with the kidneys.
And the priest shall turn them into smoke on the altar — bread of a fire offering, for a soothing aroma. All the fat belongs to the LORD.
A statute forever throughout your generations, in all your dwellings: no fat and no blood shall you eat.”
