Openyour doors,O Lebanon,that the firemay devouryour cedars.
Howl,fir tree;for the cedaris fallen;because the mightyare plundered:howl,O you oaksof Bashan;for the forestof the vintagehas come down.
There isa voiceof the howlingof the shepherds;for their gloryis plundered:a voiceof the roaringof young lions;for the prideof Jordanis plundered.
Thus saysthe LORDmy God;Feedthe flockof the slaughter;
Whose possessorsslaythem, and hold themselves not guilty:and they that sellthem say,Blessedbethe LORD;for I am rich:and their own shepherdspitythem not.
For I will no more pitythe inhabitantsof the land,saysthe LORD:but, look, I will deliverthe menevery oneinto his neighbor’shand,and into the handof his king:and they shall strikethe land,and out of their handI will not deliverthem.
And I will feedthe flockof slaughter,evenyou,O poorof the flock.And I tookto me twopoles;the oneI calledBeauty,and the otherI calledBands;and I fedthe flock.
Threeshepherdsalso I cut offin onemonth;and my soulloathedthem, and their soulalso abhorredme.
Then saidI, I will not feedyou: that that dies,let it die;and that that is to be cut off,let it be cut off;and let the resteatevery onethe fleshof another.

And I tookmy staff,evenBeauty,and cut it in two,that I might breakmy covenantwhich I had madewith all the people.
And it was brokenin that day:and so the poorof the flockthat waitedupon me knewthat itwasthe wordof the LORD.
And I saidto them, If you thinkgood,givememy price;and if not, forbear.So they weighedfor my pricethirtypiecesof silver.
And the LORDsaidto me, Castit to the potter:a finepricethat I was prised atof them. And I tookthe thirtypiecesof silver,and castthem to the potterin the houseof the LORD.
Then I cut in twomy otherstaff,evenBands,that I might breakthe brotherhoodbetween Judahand Israel.
And the LORDsaidto me, Taketo you yet the instrumentsof a foolishshepherd.
For, look, I will raise upa shepherdin the land,whichshall not visitthose that are cut off,neither shall seekthe young one,nor healthat that is broken,nor feedthat that standsstill: but he shall eatthe fleshof the fat,and teartheir clawsin pieces.
Woeto the idolshepherdthat leavesthe flock!the swordshall beupon his arm,and upon his righteye:his armshall be cleandried up,and his righteyeshall be utterlydarkened.
