And I hatedEsau,and laidhis mountainsand his heritagewastefor the dragonsof the wilderness.
Whereas Edomsays,We are impoverished,but we will returnand buildthe desolate places;thus saysthe LORDof hosts,They shall build,but I will throw down;and they shall callthem, The borderof wickedness,and, The peopleagainst whom the LORDhas indignationforever.
And your eyesshall see,and you shall say,The LORDwill be magnifiedfrom the borderof Israel.

A sonhonorshisfather,and a servanthis master:if then Ibea father,whereismy honor?and if Ibea master,whereismy fear?saysthe LORDof hoststo you, O priests,that despisemy name.And you say,In which have we despisedyour name?
You offerpollutedbreadupon my altar;and you say,In which have we pollutedyou? In that you say,The tableof the LORDiscontemptible.
And if you offerthe blindfor sacrifice,is itnot evil?and if you offerthe lameand sick,is itnot evil?offerit now to your governor;will he be pleasedwith you, or acceptyour person?saysthe LORDof hosts.
And now, I pray you, begGodthat he will be graciousto us: this has been by your means:will he regardyour persons?saysthe LORDof hosts.
Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nothing? neither do you kindle fire on my altar for nothing. I have no pleasure in you, says the LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.

You said also, Look, what a weariness is it! and you have snuffed at it, says the LORD of hosts; and you brought that which was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus you brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? says the LORD.
