How shall I give thee up,Ephraim?howshall I deliverthee, Israel?how shall I makethee as Admah?howshall I setthee as Zeboim?mine heartis turnedwithin me, my repentingsare kindledtogether.
I will not executethe fiercenessof mine anger,I will not returnto destroyEphraim:for IamGod,and not man;the Holy Onein the midstof thee: and I will not enterinto the city.
They shall walkafterthe LORD:he shall roarlike a lion:when he shall roar,then the childrenshall tremblefrom the west.
They shall trembleas a birdout of Egypt,and as a doveout of the landof Assyria:and I will placethem in their houses,saiththe LORD.
Ephraimcompassethme about with lies,and the houseof Israelwith deceit:but Judahyet rulethwith God,and is faithfulwith the saints.
